(( Here we have some rules, let me lay them down:
At least when it comes to my main RP Tumblr account (other RP sites might be slightly different), it isn’t a mutuals-only RP blog, but I’m rather selective with who I want to RP with. Generally, I tend to search out other RPers rather than the other way around. And if I like your OC or general muse, I’d come to you and ask for permission to start an RP first. I don’t really like sudden starters, so that’s out of the question – please DM me for permission if you want to start something first.
While I have more of an interest in doing RPs with other general OCs, I’m not opposed to doing “crossover” stuff with RPers/muns who RP as established fictional characters either. In fact, sometimes I might actively search for RPers who play as established fictional characters. My baseline for playing with such RPers is: I’m fine doing it, so long as, A. I’m already aware of the character prior to RPing, B. I personally think their interpretation of said character is true to their original, “canonical” version, C. I feel the character in question can gel well with my own character.
I’d generally like to keep roleplays, at least on Tumblr… somewhat PG-13 (I say “somewhat” since it might get a bit graphic in terms of the violence or some body horror, depending on the scenarios and/or context). While I’m not adverse to doing more... intimate/sensual NSFW scenarios, I’d rather it’d be confined either in DMs, in another RP site where NSFW RPs are more permissible or through an alternate NSFW Tumblr blog I set up for such events (which only I will provide a private link to), since I don’t wanna go into NSFW/“intimate” territory publicly (and of course, I will NOT EVER have NSFW RPs with minors; that's out of the goddamn question.). Even then, I’m rather selective of who I wanna do NSFW RPs with and how they should function. Which leads me to…
I generally don’t do shipping, though I’m not against it completely. My baselines are:
Underage x Adult ships are fucking disgusting and I want no part of them;
Incest is also disgusting and out of the question;
Do not EVER ship real life people with one another.
But even when it comes to ships of minors who are both of appropriate age, I do feel… off-put by them – even when the stuff created for said ships are strictly SFW – given how these ships are mostly heralded and/or performed by adults. It just feels a bit skeevy to me.
In relation to number 4: Pedophilia and incest in general is not tolerated here. Neither are overall bigots, right-wingers/fascists, TERFs, etc. Leave.
